1. IDENTIFICATION OF THE SUBSTANCE
Trade name: Grease Gobbler
Description: Biological enzyme preparation for grease deodorization and decontamination.
Chemical characterization: Compound Enzymes
Colour: Tan or cream
Appearance: Powder
2. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
On the basis of available data, the product is non-toxic and biodegradable.
However, unnecessary contact with the product should be avoided. Long term exposure to protein based products such as Grease Gobbler may cause allergic reaction in sensitized individuals. Keep out of reach of children. The usual safety measures done when handling chemicals should be taken.
3. FIRST AID MEASURES
Skin contact: Wash hands with warm soapy water after handling. Get medical advice if symptoms occur.
Eye contact: Rinse eyes with plenty of water, at least for 15 minutes then get medical attention at once.
Inhalation: Remove from exposure and move to fresh air. If symptoms of irritation or sensitization occur (ex. shortness of breath, transient or acute coughing), call a doctor.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth and throat thoroughly. Drink plenty of water.

5. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Spilled preparation should be removed immediately. Flush spill area with plenty of water. Remove and wash contaminated clothing.
6. HANDLING AND STORAGE
Handling: The usual precautions when handling chemicals should be observed. When using the product, do not eat, drink or smoke.
Avoid spilling, skin and eye contact.
Ensure good ventilation in the room when handling the product.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight.
Store at temperature below 25°C. The product should not be frozen.
7. EXPOSURE CONTROL/PERSONAL PROTECTION
Engineering controls: Provide eye wash station and safety shower. Mechanical ventilation or local exhaust ventilation may be required.
Hand protection: Use PVC/Rubber gloves
Eye protection: Wear fitting safety goggles, protective glasses or eye shield
Clothing: Use suitable protective clothing
Respiratory: Not required under normal conditions of use

Appearance: Tan powder
pH, Boiling point, Ignition temperature, Vapour pressure, Density and Solubility are not relevant to safety.

Stability: Stable under recommended storage and handling conditions.

Inappropriate handling may cause sensitization and allergic reactions in sensitized individuals. Prolonged skin contact may cause irritation.
